FARMA AWARD
We are very proud to learn that we are one of the finalists for the ‘Best On-Farm Café-Restaurant’ and ‘Own and local produce’ awards from the National Farmers’ Retail & Markets Association (FARMA).
We have been recognised for preparing fresh, local dishes, with a professional service and customer experience in our cafe.
Similarly in the shop, we have been recognised for producing our fresh soft fruit, as well as stocking a range of other fruit and veg from local producers around the area.
Soft Fruit Grower of the Year Award 2009
In February Castleton was awarded the prestigious Soft Fruit Grower of the Year 2009. Murray and Ross attended the awards dinner in London hosted and organised by Haymarket Events and sponsored by The Grower magazine.
Castleton were awarded due to the innovative management and growing techniques used at the farm.
Mitchells Blueberry Ice-Cream
Mitchells of Inverurie launched their new fabulously fruity ice cream — blueberries and cream. The blueberries are from Castleton and combined with the Mitchells icecream creates a delicious flavour. It is available to buy in the shop in two different sizes, and as a sweet in the cafe along with freshly picked berries, yum!
Stonehaven Farmers Market
Come visit us during the summer on the first Saturday of every month at Stonehaven Farmers Market in the Square from 9.00am—1.00pm. Our stall is full of our delicious berries for you to buy!

Taste of Grampian 2010
We'd be delighted to meet you at either of these shows in the coming months. We'll be at Taste of Grampian on the 5th June 2010 at stand 417, and also at the Feein' Market in Stonehaven on the same date. We look forward to seeing you then!!
